THE SHOT

Faith becomes real when it governs the decision you would rather avoid.

Belief is easy in comfort. Faith adds weight when obedience costs something, when surrender asks for more than sentiment, and when love requires action.

THE POUR

Most of us want to see clearly before obedience. We want a map, the reason, timing, guarantee, and/or some assurance that following God will feel good.

Life rarely gives us that kind of arrangement.

Faith means taking the next right step while the outcome remains hidden. It means telling the truth when silence would protect your image. It means:

• Staying when love requires endurance.
• Leaving what has become destructive.
• Apologizing without controlling the response.
• Choosing integrity before comfort has caught up.

Faith gives structure to desire.

It reminds us that every appetite, ambition, fear, opportunity, and longing eventually asks a question: What will govern me here?

That question counts because the life we build is shaped by the authority we repeatedly obey.

God does some of His deepest work in the space between what we want and what we choose.

THE FINISH

Faith is not proven by what we say we believe. It is revealed by what receives authority when the decision becomes costly.
